The original has an additional column, Slaves, which has not been included below, as there were no slaves in Massachusetts in 1800.

Note that the entries are sorted alphabetically, below. The original census record has them arranged alphabetically by first letter of last name, but not within a given letter category. Thus, no information can be gleaned from either the original or this alphabetical listing regarding the order of households in the enumeration process. In places, the original record is apparently in poor condition, and a few entries were impossible to read accurately. It is possible that a few households, listed at the top and/or bottom of pages, have been lost, as the totals from below are 33 individuals less than the totals listed in the original. Names which may be the most questionable are noted with an asterisk (*).
